Thread: Awesome Art Idea!!!

That is actually a really, really good idea. Has nobody else thought of that before? I'm kicking myself over that one. I should do that, man that would be great.

Maybe it is because my ultimate dream job would be an art curator but I have done this several times. Unfortunatly when I tried to focus on any of the pictures it was much like trying to focus on numbers. It was changable a vague.

One of the better ideas I have heard came from one of my friends lucid dreams. He is not even into art.
He was in a musuem and all the pictures on the wall were filled with colors and behind them was like the movements of an etch a stetch. They were filled with colorful sand and would always be changing in form. ON purpose though. A rather novel Idea I thought.

Why not go all the way and create art? This is something I would like to try whenever I start LDing. Just think, you could pour your own beautiful ideas directly onto a canvas. And it might even help with ideas for projects in r/l.

I agree with you Fallen.Rain. That is a good idea. You could be that much closer to your creative subconscious.
You could have a limitless spectrum with no boundaries like you do in our waking mindset.

Renedering it after you wake up would be interesting. To ry and remember it. Would you have to get up in 3:00 in the morning and break out the canvas?

I once had a dream that someone had painted a portrait of me. At first it was like a photograph of me, but as I looked at it, everything kind of became confused. Eventually I realised that I was looking at an entirely different image. It was an acrylic painting. My picture was that of a giant brain with a skeletal face . I had no eyes, but just a bony nose and chin, as well as a bone neck.

It really is a fair picture of me in some ways, and in the dream I was impressed that my subconscious could be so clever. However, after I awoke and thought about it, I became a little angry with my mind for making such an unflattering, insulting self-portait . I have actually thought about painting it though, because maybe it will give my subconscious an incentive to keep up the good work ! I won't use it as my avatar, though, because it is so creepy...

um, yeah... dont get me wrong, arts nice and all, but the last time i had a dream about an art museum all the statues came to life..... it wasnt very pretty

hmm, i could see the statues coming to life in my dreams also......well once i get better at lding ill have to try an art museum
