      wondering what this means!

I always ahve a lot of horror dreams that occur in my house or with me and my dad. I dont feel threatend or unsafe at homea nd love my dad to bits. I dont know why it keeps hapening. I was told it may be a sign of feeling insecure at home or around the people in it but i dont. I also dream a lot about my family turing phsycoa nd having red - blodshot eyes and all trying to kill me... and getting lost in shopping cewntres and it always the same shopping centre but iver never been there in real life.

please explain - if you can - what this means!!

I don't believe in such a thing as archetypes when it comes to dream interpretation. Only you can figure out what this means.

Perhaps stress is a factor? I usually get more nightmares when I'm distressed.

well, personally i have no idea if dreams really mean anything. but i'm now jealous. i wish i had recurring nightmares every single night. you can use those things. your family tries to kill you? just think about it for a second, then go: wait a second, my family's trying to kill me AGAIN? i must be dreaming! then kill them/cure them or whatever and continue on in your now-lucid dream. same princible(spelling?) with the lost-in-the-store nightmare.

      Hope this helps_Wristblade

You may feel safe at home and with your dad, but subconsciously, there may be things that are bothering. If that is the case, then the biggest thing that I can think of based on the tone of your post would be "hidden" stress. For that just try relaxation methods before you go to bed such as meditation and see if that helps your dreams contents to shift to another theme.

Also, another thing could be that at the moment of the dream you became stressed or confused by the dream and the dream took a wrong turn, if that is the case, then just try to hold your ground in dreams, try not to freak out or anything like that.
