Lightbulb Returning to a Memory, or a Structure?

My first ever lucid dream involved a very strange and simple experience in a room that reminds me of the Matrix Loading Construct, only with a single desk, and a floating wall of mirrors. It was only a minute or so long, and contained a folder on the desk that I couldn't open before I slipped awake...

I want to return to that room to see what is in the folder. My question to everyone is this: If I can somehow return there, would it be like returning to a location in real life (nothing has changed) or would it be another recreation from a memory? I ask because I'm really curious about the contents of the folder. And if I can only return to it by recreating the memory, then the contents could change and it would be pointless. But if the room is a solid state that I created, then the folder will always contain the same contents that it did the first time I was there. I know this might be an opinion-based-answer type of question, but I still want to hear what everyone thinks.

      Thanks!

How vivid of a memory do you have of the location? You obviously wont have any way to know if details have changed if you don't remember them in the first place. If you do remember the location with great detail then it is definitely possible for it to be exactly as you remember (and probably more, the brain seems to be great at filling in details). Difficulty in dreams is largely subjective. Some people might have a really hard time recreating locations while others do it with ease. I don't think that it would be any different than any other dream scene just because it was created from a memory, but that doesn't mean that the contents of the folder will be any less valuable or interesting to you.

As far as actually getting to the location I have several suggestions:
      - Open a door expecting the desired location to be on the other side.
      - Dream spin (just spin around in the dream) and imagine the location you want to be at.
      - Have the desired location in your mind during the day or before bed. Think about how it will look, feel, etc. to be there.

      Good Luck

If you know it has to be the folder then it will be the folder, just gotta believe. I bet there's a document containing information about pie, if you read this it probably will be.

It's the most vivid dream I remember. I'm not so much concerned about returning as much as I'm concerned about the contents. I want to know what was in it at the time I had the dream. If it will only be a recreation of a memory, then the contents could change based on whatever is on my mind. Like Raetin, who just plugged in the idea of a pie. Not only am I now hungry, but I could quite possibly change the contents of the folder without knowing. My hope is that I can return to the actual place so that the contents wouldn't have changed. Think of it as a save file for dreams! There, I've found the perfect way to describe it! =D
