I try to do that sometimes, but it seldom works for me. I have trouble concentrating on any one thing for more than a few minutes. |

This doesnīt necesarily have do with LDs but can well be used for them. Dream incubation consists on thinking about a certain place/scene/person you would like to see in your dreams. You have to imagine it the most vividly you can, hopefully with all its details. You have concentrate on it and keep playing and playing it in your head as you drift off into sleep without losing the image untill you simply fall asleep. You will then dream with whatever you imagined or thought of. |

In my opinion this is what everyone should practise. This is the way I drift into my luicid dreams, being concious all the time and having clear and real thoughts. When I do this I remain lucid throughout the whole sleep. Concentration is the most important factor, and this ability can be trained with meditation. The thing is, most people fall asleep with many different thoughts swimming around. If you focus on appearing (spawning) on one specific place you'll spawn there and be lucid. |

Whenever I try to concentrate on a subject before falling asleep, it just keeps me awake. I have to let my mind wander or I end up lying there for hours with my eyes closed. |

I can concentrate, but I just cant manage to remain lucid. I can incubate a dream and all, but I canīt remain completely aware the whole time. Shadowrunner, u said u meditate to develop this concentration. What meditation technique do you use? |
