dream guides, help?

So, I had another LD 3 night ago, and meeting my DG is one of my top LD tasks. So I went into a building that was a business. There was people sitting in the lobby, and I started yelling "Where is my dream guide!" and nobody looked up, or ssaid anything, so I said "can someone show me my dream guide", still no acknowlegdement. So I said it a few more times and finally some woman, was like "well....i know who they are but they are in a meeting right now and can't talk" and I said "so when can I meet him/her" and she said "she can't see you until 3 or 4 more lucid dreams, then you can meet her" or something such as I have to wait, then the LD continued, anyways, has anyone else experienced something like this? I had an LD again last night but it was very short lived. I am hoping to use the door method to find them in my next LD....I really want to find them so I have some questions-how did you find your DG, what did you ask your DG (what should I ask), what did they look like, what did they do, etc. Thank you

When I first looked for my dream guide I asked a random DC were my dream guide was and he laughed at me and said that I would have to become stronger (in my dream skills) before I could meet them. Really similar to what they said to you. I got better over a long time and got some more clues and an idea of wat my dream guide was like. I thought she would be female, strong willed, very powerful in dream combat and I also learned that I had to go to a tower to find them. A couple weeks ago I was randomly in a lucid being attacked by a witch. She had a curse on her(or acting like it for her own amusment which is what I think it actualy was now) that was making her attack me and after I got it off with the help of Gandalf from lord of the rings. She wore dark dark purple clothes and a pointy witches hat. She reminded me of blair from Sould Eater. Its hard to say what age she was. She looked young but older than me, maby 19. For all I know she could be thosands of years old. I can't remember what her hair or face looked like. I asked her to be my dream guide and she agreed and kept giving me this smirk like she knew more than she was letting on and like it was all planned from the start. She was in a hurry for some reason and we walked briskly up a spiral stair case of a tower while we talked. (I didn't remember that I was suppose to be looking for a tower until after I woke up.) She said she couldn't teach me then and that she would give me my first lesson latter. I never got to ask her her name or how I could comunicate with her in future lucids. I have been trying to teleport back to her tower but I am still not great at teleporting so I havn't met her again yet. That is why I think the most important question to ask is how can you make sure that you can meet up with them again. Also ask their name and about who they are and how they can help you with dreams and stuff.

(I didn't remember that I was suppose to be looking for a tower until after I woke up.) I've noticed that I can be completely conscious that I am dreaming, but sometimes I don't act out of a rational mind. I know this might sound obvious, but is it possible that we think with our subconscious while were sleeping and completely block out our conscious? This could be why I forget all the little tasks that I've thought about while conscious and never end up doing in an LD, because I never locked in in to my subconscious.

I think our conscious is active but our subconscious is more "in control" if that makes sense

when I looked for my dreamguide I just beleived that he or she was around the corner. I turned the corner and there was someone in a black cloak and their back was turned towards me. I chased after it and pulled down her cloak at the end of the hall. I found out she was a little girl with brown curly hair and blue eyes. But she said she wasn't my dreamguide.
