Can someone help me interpret my dream?

I usually don't pay much attention to the kinds of things I dream about, but when I woke up from this one I just felt like I really needed to share it with someone. I got up right away and wrote down details about it which is something I absolutely never do, so I knew something was up. I googled some of the aspects and I think I have an idea what it may mean, but I was just wondering if I could get some other opinions? Please and thank you!

The beginning is kind of blurry, but I was at a frat party (I'm still in high school, if that's significant) and I was in the basement of the frat house. A boy I recognized from middle school was there and he came over to me and said 'hi' which I found normal but now think is strange because it's not like we were good friends. He served me a beer and we sat on the couch. Then I started to sing the song 'Ironic' by Alanis Morissette. He acknowledged my singing by laughing. Then there was a commotion upstairs and I ran up to see what was going on.

I realized then that the frat house was from the TV show 'Greek' (even though it looked nothing like it) and I ran into two of the characters from the show. They are an on-again-off-again couple on the show, and are currently together. They said something to me and then laughed and started to kiss. They were leaning over/sitting on the kitchen sink. I sat or fell down on the floor and absentmindedly played with a beer bottle. Then someone suggested that we steal all the beer from the refigerator as a prank to play on the fraternity brothers. While they were grabbing all of the beer, everyone came out of the basement to stop them. It got kind of intense and I was sitting on the floor in the middle of it, but I couldn't stand up, even when someone tried to pull me. Bottle of beer were flying everywhere and one rolled over to my leg just when I woke up.

Sorry if I included any insignificant details, I just wasn't really sure what would be helpful. If you need to know anything else about the people in the dream/myself just let me know and I'll share (but I didn't want to make my post longer than necessary, haha).

Yo, I recently read some stuff about the subconscious mind. To my knowledge everything that is important to someone is stored in their subconscious mind, even things that arent important or that just recently happened or something you spend a lot of time thinking about. Dreams can be and are usually impulses and information from the subconscious (at least mine are anyway). So my conclusion to why you dreamed this is assuming that you tune in every-week to watch the show "greek" and it simply was in your subconscious because its a habit. And assuming that you don't drink and you said you were in high school maybe your getting to the point where you are starting to decide weather you want to drink or not. ( I know this was something I went through my senior year of high school right before college). You said that you were served a beer and never said you drank it. Then ran upstairs and sat there playing with a beer bottle aimlessly and that no one could help you up. Maybe, your the spinning of the bottle represents that you need to or have been "playing" with a important decision such as drinking. (Dosent have to be just and example tho) and that with this decision no one can make it but you, or that you need to listen to your self and not your friends or people such as that when making an important decision. ( no one could help you up in your dream) as for the characters of the dream im going to guess that is was just in your subconscious from watching the show. This is ONLY my thinking so idk if this sounds logical to you. Dreams are weird it could have just been a wierd dream or the prediction of something thats going to happen. Last week my best friend of 10 yrs woke up and said that he had a terrible dream that his girlfriend of 3 yrs had cheated on him then dumped him literally the next day that shit happened in real life. Bottom line dreams will probably never be fully understood but can be useful and helpful if you can remember them and interpret them correctly. Anyway sorry for the lengthy post hope this helped!

I don't think it's possible to interpret dreams. There are far too many conflicting theories on what dreams are and what their purpose is. I think the best theory is, that dreams, are playgrounds for memories. Also, it is interesting to note that the human mind remembers everything it experiences and can replay thosememories/experiences in vivid detail.
