      I was so close to have my second LD yesterday. :(

      In one of the dreams yesterday, out of nowhere I say to myself I'm dreaming and then got so excited I woke up.

      Seeker is right. You were already lucid if you realized you're dreaming. I think 2 or 3 of my first LDs were just the same. I woke up immediately after becoming aware or after like 20 seconds.

      Well, technically he was there, but I think there really needs to be another term for actually participating in a lucid dream.

      This is what has me confused as to how many LDs I've had - if I include those really quick "I'm dreaming -ooop <wake up>" then I've had a good handful of them. I kinda call those LD "hiccups".

      But I don't like counting those. Really, there were only about three that I actually got to enjoy for a bit.
