      First Lucid Dream since restart.

Hey all new to the forums here even though I can say I've been lurking for around 2 weeks or so . I didnt make an account because i wanted to join after my first lucid since my restart on my count.

Ok so heres the story before the lucid dream...

I went to sleep yesterday after being very tired and I was opening my eyes every 5 min or so while trying to sleep doing RC pinching my nose so i am sure its not a FA then i finally falling a sleep.

Ok so heres where it gets interesting. I enter the dream non lucid but as soon as i walk through a doorway in a house I've never been to i became LUCID!!!!
so i was getting way to excited thinking about all i could do because i just entered the dream so i had a lot of time to have fun. Then the dream starts to crash because of excitement i realize im not a noob and not gunna waste my first lucid in a while on that so i remember to stabilize i rub my hands and its not enough so i go to the stair case in this house and rub it feeling to textures like some one said on the forum. An boom dream stabilizes after a few seconds i calm down at first it felt like my heart was gunna come out off my chest. I realize that i wanted to go to a new place to i try teleporting to a meadow like place like the ones in movies where the girl and guy are running to each-other. I try and use the spin method but forgot to NOT close my eyes. So i close my eyes and start to spin i feel like i am in a different place it feels like i am standing on grass, but i cannot get my EYES OPEN they are closed I try opening them but fail.

Ok so i wake up but i feel like i am in SP and try not to freak out because i cannot move but i just remember i am in SP and i do see a little HI but nothing scary mostly images passing in front of me but only a few i was waking up. I woke up and fell back to sleep fast not remembering dream.

It seem like i can only recall dreams on the crapper so when i woke up to really wake up i remembered this Lucid Dream because it seemed to happen early on in the REM cycle so i am lucky i remembered it.

** Also when i was lurking i read that weed cause bad effects on ld or dreaming in general but i smoked 2 blunts before bed like right before and also i read masturbation causes a negative effect on ld or dreaming in general but i also did that before bed and well the above happened so maybe its just me.**

Great job on the dream stabilization. I would often get excited and not do it, which is bad. Hahaha. Too bad about not closing your eyes Since dreams are a lot about perceiving your reality, you probably couldn't open them because they were already open (just a thought). Maybe by closing them, you perceived blackness or something and therefore you were teleported off to some dark meadow land. Hah.

One time I was lucid and found myself in some campus building that doesn't really exist. I remembered that I was not supposed to blink because it usually wakes me up. So I kept my eyes open while exploring. But the urge to blink grew and my eyes started to tear, so I just did it. :/ It's all about what you expect, but sometimes the subconscious can throw things at you that you aren't expecting. I mean, you can't keep track of EVERY single little detail of your dream world.
