Summoning your sub-conscious (dream guide, etc.)

I started this thread because I had a sort of newish idea that I don't think I've heard of anyone else trying, but I think it would be possible to sort of "split" your subconscious out from yourself.

I've had trouble with summoning my dream guide in the past, and still don't know what he or she is despite multiple attempts.

So, has anyone else tried dividing themselves from their subconscious?
And has anyone tried talking directly to their subconscious?

      You should try it

Haven't heard of it yet. It's interesting though. I've always wondered if you could change things about your subconcious. Example being, eliminating fear of heights?

According to several websites I've come across since learning about lucid dreaming, it is possible to personify your subconscious. doing so allows you to ask yourself questions and receive honest answers that apparently may surprise you. I've never done it but one thing I've always wondered was, if you do summon your subconscious could you then ask your subconscious to hold you in the dream so that it would last longer. Also i wonder if could you ask it to tell you that your dreaming in any dream thereafter so that you will always be lucid in every dream.

I had the same idea! it would be awesome if you could directly tell your subconscious to know when your dreaming and to appear in every dream.

I also wondered if you could plant something in a dream with the intention of it being in every dream, like a giant banner that says "YOUR DREAMING!"
