Dream/Spirit Guides

Hi, Have any of you met with entities in your dreams, when lucid, that you spoke with and that you feel are your dream/spirit guides? I mean, where you are fully conscious and are face to face with them and communicating? If so, please let me know what it was like, what you think it meant for you, and just a synopsis of the events. I ask because I've never met anyone else besides my cats in my lucid dreams. In a way, I'm scared to meet anyone in my lucid dreams because it will probably be very freaky. However, I do think that dream/spirit guides might exist, and would like to meet mine. If I did, it would probably alter my perseption of reality; I'd either go mad, or have a better take on life. Meeting people in real life is freaky enough, lol. Thanks, Marc.

Few seconds pass and then i see a shadowy figure coming towards the door. Immediately i am scared and frightented to death because my fears of thinking that it was an alien instead started to take over(i am REALLY scared of aliens). But once the egpytian women came in, i was relieved and excited to meet her. I asked her one personal question. It was not the answer I was really looking for, but it was an impressive answer. Its like one of those answers that doesn't answer your question directly, but indirectly and doesnt really make sense. It was an answer that had to be thought over about. I asked her name, but the dream faded before she could answer The second time I was in some house again that had a staircase. I summoned my DG and i heard footsteps climbing the stairs. I knew it was her and i waited for her to climb all the way up. I think she had a mask on to but not really sure.anyway she was dressed in a dress. just like a stereotypical princess and she had this goody voice which was sweet. immediately i asked for her name and i think it was \"Ardiology\" or \"ardiologious\" something like that. it sounded similar to archeology which she used to help me pronounce the word. Anyway i asked her a question i think about working together or she said something about something, but i cant remember. I also asked her if that was really her, my dream guide, when i met her in the first dream. i cant remember any of her answers though. after that she started to sing and then i felt like singing began to sing with her and my voice was pretty good(i dont sing, i suck at it in reality, but for some reason she made me feel like i wanted to sing). I dont remember what then, but for some reason i went into house(i guess my dream guide left) The third and fourth time are in the same dream(im a little confused as to what really happened in this one though) Anyway, for some odd reason people were panicking away from me when i became lucid and then i called my DG to come forth, She surprised me when i turned around and she was already there, but as i said above, she was not human, and very ugly. She saw my reaction and tried to make her viewer friendly. After that i was blinded by some heavenly light that was created by her(she doesnt even say anything to me nor do i since i didnt have time at all. The next thing i know, im talking to the 4th DG in the heaven place and he is a very funny character and comical. I like him and he makes me laugh. What struck me though was what he said when i asked him something. I asked him if he could help me become more lucid, helping me think its a dream and pointing out dream signs. he said \"No.\" and i was shocked. I ask him why but he wouldn't say. he kept stalling saying \"well you see...because...um...err..i cant because...\" etc. Anyway after that he showed me around like said above. I'd also like to note that this DG was different from the others. As you can see he's the only guy of the group, and he was not honest. For example we were at the \"heaven\" bar and it looks like he stole a couple of jugs of water from the bartender and started drinking it and he was doing something with cards, whcih might suggest gambling. It wsa very odd. Also later on in the dream, i announce that i've been here before but i cant remember where, dreamwise or in reality(i cant remember which one), and the DG said he has to, we then high 5 eachother. After that i saw that the dream was coming to an end and that some kind of force was pulling us two apart from one another. Like I was stuck in some crowd that was going one way the the DG was going the other. Anyway I yelled out \"what is your name\" and he said his name was Triad. I then laughed some more and told him that he's not martin lawrence(who he reminded me of) in a comical way. We all laughed. I had a fairly good time in that dream =D. Guess he did show me a good time though. *wipes sweat* WHOO! that's a lot of info. Sorry, but you did ask to tell you everything i knew. Try to think more positively about dream characters. Tell yourself you will meet someone nice and understanding and (insert positive adjectives here). It's all in your head and unless something really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really bad happens, you'll wake up just fine. Take charge of your dreams. They're yours so the only person who can ruin them is yourself. -Amé

meeting people in your dreams is anything but freaky. If anything, it can be really cool. It's a lot different from real life. i guess one might even be ble to say its like a chatroom only, you dont have to be chatting & youre certainly not confined to any room.

Well, when I was a kid I've met a little girl of about my age (I was 7 or 8 ) in my dream. She called herself my "Dream Director". She appeared after I had a certain nightmare (a reccuring one, by the way) and she helped me tame it. I'm fairly sure I wasn't lucid at the time though... strange... I think several years later I tried to call her in one dream, but she didn't came. By the way, I'm telling this without actually knowing what a "dream guide" is, it just sounds very similar to what I've dreamt. I'll look it up on the main site right now. EDIT: That girl was very confident and bossy, by the way, and very serious. Something you'd not expect from a 8 year old girl. But hell, I was her age at the time...

I've had quite a few protracted conversations with dream characters whilst lucid or semi-lucid. Every single time, the person has been non-cooperative. I.e. "Please tell me why I am here?" "No". I also wanted to meet Morpheus (from The Matrix), as he is a character that represents wisdom. So my dream made a door and I opened the door and Morpheus was there but he was very impolite. Also , now that I think about it, when I find myself asking dream characters questions , the answer which MY mind is creating, is never the one that my 'conscious' mind/self expects or wants to hear. It is usually a repudiation of the basis of the question very much like a Buddhist's koan. I also once had an incredibly bizarre conversation with a fat woman at the edge of a swimming pool. She was crying and said "I cannot enter the water because I have a greek face." That's gibberish! Anyway I am digressing.

This is my first time hearing about Dream Guides. From my memory I never met one. I'm really surprise that I haven't. When I was little I used to have these dreams where I am trying to find this mystical place. To get there I had to go through this forest that was by my neighborhood, but for some reason never made it to the place. Just about everyday I questioned myself of what is that place and why I must go there. In real life, I actually went through the forest and was sadden that there was no mystical place. Anyways I question my dreams alot, but never met anyone intelligent in them or someone who seemed to be my dream guide.

wanted to find one of these dream guide threads, because i saw mine for the second tine in my life! This time i just called for her to some (much less scary than her appearance out of nowhere) Well, i don't know her name, but she has wavy red hair and last time she had the wings of a pheonix. (didn't see them this time, but i'm sure they're the same) her speach is very elegant and it always makes me feel kind of cheery, But mostly confused. She doesn't seem that much like me. All brigth and always wearing these really complex outfits. I just drew the new butterfly one. My rendition looks really good, but it doesn't have anything to do with this. Last time, she was telling me that "I could do it" this time she was saying to have faith and she was proud of what i've done so far. Which is nice to know that i don't have one of those dream guides who is pissed that you're meddling with your dreams. (maybe they're naturally tolerant of it if you're naturally lucid. i don't know for sure but it sounds probable)

Hi all! Below is my first experience with my Spirit Guide. It was a unique (and kind of funny) experience so I thought I'd share it! ** I woke up at 4:30 am, stayed up for half an hour and then went to my living room couch to sleep. I did the third eye technique for 5 minutes and then rolled over on my right side to go to sleep while every so often saying "I'm dreaming". *After feeling vibrations weakly off and on, then feeling the beginnings of the shift but not the *complete* shift for about an hour, I decided to ask my SPIRIT GUIDE for help getting out as it didn't seem that I was going to be able to do it by myself. At about 6:30 am I gave up and rolled on to my side to go to sleep. I began to dream that a woman was in my house trying to sell me a tape or kit on lucid dreaming & OOBEs.. but I listened to it and told my husband that I didn't want it and to get my money back. *The woman stated that she didn't know if refunds were allowed. *Just then there was a knock on the door and my husband said that "John Houston" (???) was outside and wanted to talk to me about his OOB product! I went into my bedroom to hide as I didn't want to deal with him. *I peeked out the bedroom window and it dawned on me that the bedroom I was in was the bedroom that I had shared as a little girl with my baby sister! I also realized that I was in pajamas but not the same pajamas that I had worn to bed and my hair hadn't been combed.. *(Hey, I would never entertain company dressed in my pajamas with a headful of bed hair!) Just as I was pondering the *weirdness* of this whole situation (mind you I STILL had not realized that I was dreaming).. I felt a tremendous SHOVE from behind from invisible hands and I flew face first towards the wall!! When I put up my hands to stop myself from crashing into the wall.. my hands went THROUGH the wall as though it were butter! *It was only THEN that I knew that I was dreaming and that I was also somehow OOB!! *At that SAME instant, I also somehow knew that my SPIRIT GUIDE was the one who pushed me.. I guess he/she felt that I just wasn't going to "get it" without having it literally shoved in my face!! *;-D I *felt myself become excited.. I was OUT!! *I started yelling "YES! YES!" and even though I couldn't see my spirit guide, I thanked him/her and asked him/her to please help me get to the place I wanted to go.. I saw a very delicate and softly glowing left hand attached to a very slender glowing left arm reach around from behind me and I instinctively knew to lay my left hand on top of that delicate hand and we were off! *I screamed "Yes!" and instantly saw city street and building lights below me as we flew through the night sky. Suddenly I realized that I was too excited as I could feel myself start to fade! I tried to calm down and stated "maintain lucidity" and I came briefly back but started to fade again. *I stated "maintain lucidity" again and again but it was too late.. I woke up back in my body.. but even then.. for just a few minutes, I could still feel my spirit guide's hand beneath mine... Though I never saw anything other than the softly glowing hand and arm of my spirit guide, *I felt no fear and I also know that if I hadn't blown it by getting too excited.. she/he would have taken me whereever I had wanted to go. Hi Clarity, thats quite an experience.. I find it amazing and very interesting when we can somehow communicate with other entities.. I sometimes wonder if our guides appear to us as differant people , ya know people in our present life,because Ive had several ld's and obe's where I will be with a family member though they will be guiding me and telling me things as if to show me the way... my mom and my sister show up quite a bit, and it seems that they are there when I have questions in my ld's and obe's, because when Im out I ask alot of questions, and Im always searching for something, I will elaborate later on these things... I think its neat and fascinating, though sometimes I wonder also if some of these forms are there due to our creation, our higher selves guided us as well ya know..there are many possibilities and I hope to reach a conclusion for my own truths and inner wisdom.
