Dream recording question and I'm weird..

Haha. Well it's weird, but I bet a lot of people experience this.
During the day, I don't really think about lucid dreaming. Or practice awareness. (the exception of RCs) But once it's time for bed, at least 10 minutes earlier or so; I get really excited about lucid dreaming, and I want to get on DV/look for new ways to lucid dream.

Why is this so? It's like I don't really care about LDing then I really, really care about it.

Also, is there an easier way to record dreams? Even I'm too lazy to type on the computer. Lol.

Find a tape recorder or digital voice recorder, or keep a notebook beside the bed.

      I got that too sometimes,
Just when I think about getting to bed I get all pumped up to look up new ways, people's experiences en things they've gone through in their dreams., which keeps me away of dreaming myself for some time longer
      Goals:
      Super speed running [ ], flying decently [ ], Having a nice long conversation with a DC [ ], Summon someone/something [ ], Meeting my DG [ ]

      Hi,

I find reading random dreams from journals on here last thing at night helps i only read lucid ones, it causes me to dream about what i have read and last time i think it helped me become lucid.

It is easy to get distracted during the day. There is so much going on that demands our attention. Part of learning to lucid dream is working on being more aware so we are not so easily distracted. Try to develop the habit of thinking of lucid dreaming throughout the day.

I like to type my ld notes in my i-phone its convenient for me because i always sleep with it and i have app's to aid me in lucid dreaming. I understand what u mean about not caring then caring. I relate it to when i was in college and my professor told us we have a 20 page term paper due at the end of the semester and then 3months later not getting focused about it until the night before the deadline. Personally i do pretty gd under pressure just that ld's are always on my mind the reward is very high for me.
