      I Made It

Finally last night in my shortest REM period (about 5 mins) I achieved lucidity. I was in my foods class and my cooking partner said "Plug your nose and inhale, you are dreaming" I became lucid and stood up and confirmed this, rubbed my hands together. And stood up, asked the teacher if i could use the washroom. I left and walked around. WEnt to the washroom (actually). And yeah it ended. Im really excited about this. I want to thank Dreamviews.com and my subconscious.

Well done! I'm glad you're so excited about dreaming.

When you follow along with the dream plot you can lose lucidity. I would recommend removing yourself from the plot. If you want to go along with the dream try to remain slightly detached. Don't get too emotionally or mentally involved.

      Keep up the good work!

So its more of a non linear thing? Just muck about? Yeah when he told me i was dreaming. I got that thought o rly? And the most lucid moment was when i stood up to do the reality check. But when i went to ask the teacher i felt myself sorta losing it. Getting it back again when i stopped while walking through the halls (at this point it became just as vivid as real life. I didn't get exicted during the dream. But yeah dont follow the plot, thanks for the advice.

Congrats on your lucid! I've never had a DC tell me I'm dreaming. I'd love it if that happened to me.
Short-term lucid goals: [X] Move an object with my mind [ ] Create a portal and use it to get to a dream scene of my choice [ ] Meet one of my book characters

Long-term lucid goals: [ ] Visit the Dream World Academy [ ] Make a building appear at will [ ] Change my appearance to disguise myself as someone else [ ] Find the end of a rainbow
