one thing i have been trying to do in a lucid dream is to have sex , but every time when im just about to have sex or make out with a girl i wake up, do you know why this happens?

Its probably from too much excitement. That's what happens to most people during sex in lucids. You just have to keep the excitement down a notch

Make sure you keep your eyes open and focus on your senses too.

Yeah, the reason why this happens is your focus goes towards your arousal and off from all the senses. I suggest you really focus on what you are feeling tactile wise and stare into their eyes or on something else. Sex in dreams is definitely different, instead of the usual peak orgasm there seems to be small waves of pleasure that go all over the place. Also penetration seems to be unnecessary as my dream body at least seems to emit pulses of arousal just from dry humping.

This reminds me of the story of Orpheus and Eurydice. You know, when he promised Hades that he won't turn around to look at his beautiful wife until he's out of the Underworld, but near the entrance he gives into temptation. Just when he can have her she fades out of existence.

These are 3 methods developed by Stephen Laberge and the Lucidity Institute to prolong lucid dreams. As soon as you become lucid, perform these if you're not confident with your ability to keep yourself in a lucid state.

* SPINNING: Imagine you are in a lucid dream and it is fading. Then actually spin around, as you will in the dream.

* GOING WITH THE FLOW: Imagine you are in a lucid dream and it is fading. Then continue to do what you are already doing while remaining aware that you are dreaming.

* RUBBING YOUR HANDS: Imagine you are in a lucid dream and it is fading. Then vigorously rub your hands together, as you will in the dream.

I succeeded having lucid sex first time in my most recent lucid dream. I think the reason was that I wasn't paying too much attention on the sex...

Don't they have to be in the sunlight, and he gets there and looks back but she's in the shade?

When that has happen to me i felt like it was my excitement that cut the experience short. I remember thinking damn i was so close then i went right back into the same dream scene, and finished what i started. That time I tried to seperate my emotions from the experience and because of it I was so detached that I could see my self and the other person having sex. Like third person perception. Anyways i would try to remain a objective observer as much a possible, its like pretending your not lucid when u really are.

My biggest problem isn't waking up, but having an "accident" and then waking up because of it

. When I am intent on having lots of sex in a LD, I always try and literally run away when I get too excited, then I just focus on keeping my lucidity while my "excitement" calms down, then I find another hot chick and repeat the procedure

I think thats because you need to relieve your self more in the walking hours lol
