I'd say so in my expirience. Three of my whatever of lucid dreams have been DILDs, and, well, they've sucked. I've been able to be more lucid, controlling, and aware in my WILDs, which have been the rest of my ludid dreams. |

So I keep reading that DILDs are a joke of lucid dreaming compared to WIlDS. Is this true. My 3 encounters with lucid dreaming have been DILDs that lasted about 5 seconds long. I know they will probably get better in time but do the experts recomend moving on to WILDs and other tequniques once you're somewhat experienced? |

It has been said by the majority of people here that WILD's are much more vivid than DILDs, although i cant personally back that up with only having 1 WILD and it wasnt THAT vivid. But it does make sense sinec you are transitioning straight from conciousness to dream |

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard
You can move to WILD any time you want. Getting to the first "vibration" phase is quite easy. From there you have to move on your own. Be aware that your mind may try to trick you out of this state. |

What Ev says is right, in fact, this morning I woke up earlier than I should (more or less 6 hs of sleep). And when I did, I remembered I could sleep for a longer time so I lied there in bed, and like 30s after that, all the vibration and staff appeard. At first, I freaked out, I tried to move and it was painful, but after some secs I remembered what this meant and I relaxed. An image started to appear, but I rushed to enter the dream and the image got smaller and smaller and I suddenly woke up... |
