I shared a WILD with a DC while in a dream?

The other day I was at a friends house and we went to bed. There was a total of 3 people there (me and two of my friends). I fell asleep and had a crazy dream about escaping cave people which was really long and I became lucid after I escaped them. It was a rather boring lucid that was basically me just flying around with the aid of an umbrella. Finally I woke up or so I thought. I was actually still dreaming and didn't know it. I was in the same room and everyone was there and they were sleeping, but another friend was there who wasn't there in waking life and he was awake. I didn't even notice and then we tried to have a shared dream, so I tried to WILD(which I have never been able to do before, but is actually extremely easy when you are already dreaming ) and succeeded and apparently so did he. I'm kinda confused. So what I think happened is I had a DILD then had a false awakening in which I WILD and had a shared dream with my own sub-conscience. That was a doozy

Sounds like a mouthful ^_^ But I suppose that was an easy way to get lucid, ha!
