      2 Questions: WILD and Lucid Dream Recall

      Well, I'm going to attempt a WILD tonight.

      Question 1: When I wake up for the about ... 30 minutes or so.. am I supposed to still be tired whenever I lay back down and begin? Because.. 30 minutes will completely wake me up.. and I'd just like to know >.<

      Question 2: Whenever you DO lucid dream, will you be able to remember it better and with more clarity since it was you who created it... it'd be like a memory of the day... or at least that's what I'd imagine.

      Thanks,
      Set. =)

      if you are staying up for 30 minutes, you are not doing WILD, you are doind went back to bed (WBTB) or something.

      Most of my WILDs happened when I woke up and went back to sleep right away. That is: turn off the alarm clock or snooze it and relax. Try to keep conscious and dont give up or slip into sleep.

      ugh you're right.I could've sworn it said stay up for 30-60 minutes afterwords. =(

      Well, I woke up this morning at 4:15 and waited about 20 minutes, and then tried to go back. I guess I shouldn't have waited, because I haven't been able to go back to sleep now.

      Also, whenever I try to even try to think of something in my sleep, it prevents me from going to sleep ( like counting or saying 'i am dreaming)

      That's why I got most of my WILDs by waking up and falling asleep next minute. It is easy to come to the onset of WILD by using other means, but there I usually tend to start controlling my breath and cant let it go. This ruins the onset.

      If I happen to wake up in the middle of REM period, there's swift return to awareness, but it's not enough to start thinking about stuff... For a few minutes you are totally relaxed already and technically still in the "sleeping mode". That makes slipping back into a dream so easy.

      Still, this method is not effortless and requires certain conditioning and main part is you have to wake up during the REM period...

      1: Don't wake up too much, maybe you should try for 10 or 15 minutes instead
      2: It will be almost exactly like a waking memory

      Goodluck tonight!
      you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

      I find that being almost fully awake to be the best, because you're awake enough to stay concious but you can still go to sleep/

      And I always manage to forget what happens in my lucid dreams, I remember them but I have to think hard to remember everything that happened.
