In my book "the ultimate lucid dreaming manual: from basics to beyond" by Mark Vandekeere, he said you should write your DJ in the present tense instead of the past tense. Like "I am flying around" rather that "I was flying around". Does anyone have any opinions on this? What would be the reason for writing in the present tense?

I would assume that the reason for this is because if you re-read your dream journal, it can also be used as a mantra.
