      Dreaming in English

Ever since I started working on being lucid my dreams started to change. All the articles I have read were in English, and some of the things I should be telling myself before I go to bed are in English. I didn't even think of translating them into my language. When I think about lucid dreaming I think in English.

Now I am having dreams in English. Although it's my second language.

I've dreamed in Japanese, Chinese, and French before, even though I can't speak any of these languages (although when I was a very little girl, I couldn't speak a word of English, only French). Now, I dream in English, and oddly enough, with an English accent. I have no idea why. My grasp of languages and accents is quite terrible.

I've always wanted to speak Spanish. Maybe if I watch Scola enough it will just happen in my dreams.

I've dreamed in German, however, I only have a basic grasp of the language.

Alright, tons of you say you have dreamed in different languages like Jerman and Gapanise or whatever ...those typos were on purpose

Anyway-how do you know that the full conversation was in that language-or not just gibberish? its interesting...

Excellent question Lowercase Society! I was thinking also if you think that you spoke German, and you know that you don't know the language that well, that means being lucid does not mean full awareness. You are aware of certain things only.

      Back to the question:
how do you know that the full conversation was in that language-or not just gibberish?[/b]
And did you know, while you were speaking, that you didn't really know the language?

      those typos were on purpose[/b]
I didn't realize there were any typos. I guess I must have been dreaming!
