Can Someone Tell Me If I Was In SP

I been trying to lucid for a while now and 2 days ago i decided im actually going to read up a method and try it though i have been reading up on lucid for quite some time now

I woke up at 3 a.m, i started to breathe slowly and not concentrate on anything and let the images coming in my head go by

Soon the dream got real vivd and i saw 4 people i knew waking out the school, i walked out and my friend spawned from no where and we started smoking, then in my dream i said "am I dreaming?" And i felt myself put the cigarette in my mouth and smoke it

I was in control but my eyes forced itself open 5 seconds later

I couldn't move or anything and heard screaming in my ears, i wasn't to afraid since i read up on the things i will experience, i was waiting for scary images to appear lmao but nothing, i closed my eyes and started breathing fast and that's when i got control again of my body

Couldn't lucid anymore though for the rest of the night when i closed my eyes i would go paralyzed and have to keep breathing fast to get control and it would happen after 20 seconds of closing my eyes and would keep happening until i went downstairs to sleep. So for about 2 hours

Can someone explain what actually happened?

      Yes!

You were in sleep paralysis. Apply a separation method next time! Don't be scared, the hallucinations are not real. Some people have them, I do not though (wish I did, it would be cool). Do things like imagining moving your dream body or grabbing a rope you just 'know' will be there. Keeping your eyes closed is never a bad idea if you're scared of hallucinations too.

Be lucky you got to SP, not everyone makes it that far!
