Weekly meeting place

Hi gang, I've had so much fun with the Statue of Liberty meeting idea that I would like to propose a new game based on a set of destinations that change weekly, probably each Friday. I will leave the Statue of Liberty up until this Friday. Here goes: Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to visit the weekly destination and meet up with a forum member. Remember as many details about the meeting including a physical description of the member, how nice (or mean) they were, and what happened. Return to this thread and post the details. Should be a lot of fun! Good dreaming 8) , and remember - Status of Liberty this week.

Hey I was trying to find the serinthe meeting place post. bit could'nt....I have'nt lucid dreamt in 3 weeks and it stinks, I wish I could and meet you, where is the next place?

The Status of Liberty is the place until Friday. I will try to post something Thursday on the next location.... Maybe something cool like the Great Pyramid... or the Dome at Epcot, maybe Niagra Falls. I will be looking for you and all forum members each night! This is going to be a lot of fun! Dang...I have to get this! What's it going to take...? EDIT: I like the Niagra Falls idea. For now, I guess I'll just help those who can participate.. Once everyone thinks they have a better grip on meeting, why not try and meet in outer space? That would be awesome...

The bad thing is we dont get lucid everyday..but if did get lucid i'd try and find you wereever you are meeting(were is still unclear 2 me)

how about every sunday at the statue of liberty or something... like its the same every week so its easy to remember. and from there we can go somewhere

The beauty to this challenge is that you don't have to try on a specific day, you have all week to try to meet someone. If you remember to do it during your LD, go to the assigned meeting place and find someone. It will really be a coincidence if you and someone else are lucid at the same time, but be sure to come back and write up your dream! If you do happen to hook up, or accurately describe someone, it will be awesome! Anyway, i'ts something to do, and challenges you to expand. I tried for the Statue again last night with no luck! We can all try extra hard on Sundays to meet at the statue and go from there as Tim suggested. That should be interesting, especially if everyone's account matches! Dream Coil, I'm not sure I know where the Sydney Harbour Bridge is or what it looks like. azwe_echo, I was going to propose somewhere in space, or the moon when we all get really good at this. Keep the ideas and accounts rolling in. New destination will be chosen this Thursday (like new movies!)

You need something very easy that everybody like knows and can easily be pictured..like the all white dimension in the matrix 1 ,were its just all white with nothing but a couch and a TV..

That was one reason I chose the Statue of Liberty. It is a common landmark. I don't think I have ever tried to enter a solid white room. Might be cool. I am open to suggestions for places. They need to be well know to our worldwide members. Like the Eiffel Tower.

Eiffel Tower seems good 2 me..eiffel tower in the summer..id have a cocktail..hehe

I've been there a couple of times. Once in July and once in January. July was nice, I really enjoy sitting at outdoor cafe's sipping wine and snacking on some good French cooking. Those French really know how to cook!

I prefer Italian food..french..reasonable..but I love to sit down and chill out and have a drink just ennoying everything around you

How about a secret destination as well? IT has the advantage of no preconceived ideas. We may all dream something standard for say the pyramids based on our prejudices. The secret location has the advantage that we just need two people to describe what the place was to validate the mutual dreaming...and in lucid dreams you can just spin and wish yourself there!

How about trying to leave a note or a sign or something if nobodies is there and see what would happen if somebody visits that place then,would it disapear? Probaly yes,but who knows

I like it! If the author of the note will refrain from posting the message here, we can see how closely it matches what the finder reads. Lucius, have you decided on your dissertation topic yet? This could be promising...

Did you not say that you were working on a degree in Psychiatry? In the USA, you must perform some original research and present it to a group of doctors before you can become a doctor. This research must be defended and is called a Doctoral Disseration(spelling?)

Well thing is I dont live in the USA so I didnt know..and that brings me 2 another problem I live in europe so there is a time diffirence so sharing lucid dreams with you people in the states might be hard..giving when I dream your not even asleep yet..

Statue of Liberty until Thursday night, on Thursday night, it will change to the Eiffel tower. Group meeting there on Sunday morning also for all those that care to attend.
