Thread: Weekly meeting place

Notes are hard to read, with text constantly changing in dreams. An object is better!

OK, here we go:
The meeting place for this week is the Eiffel tower. From now until next Thursday, here are your objectives:
1) Visit the tower
2) Attempt to hook-up with the forum member(s) of your choice
3) Attempt to find an object left by a previous visitor
4) Leave an object for the next visitor
5) Come back here and leave a DETAILED account of your experience(but don't tell what object you left)



I tried to hook up with Seri at the Statue of Liberty this morning, but the alarm clock went off before I could get there!

I had a lucid aswell, but I couldnt picture at all how the statue looked like,I just couldnt so I just failed at getting there,well mabey the eiffel will work for me then because I know it alot better,mabey night but i doubt it cuz I rarely have 2 lucid dreams right after eachother(the next day)

I won't be joining any of you...

Not good enough? It took me almost an entire week of trying to set to the last destination.
I made it back a second time last night after trying for 3 days, just to have the alarm clock go off!

This is a very old thread that seems to have inadverdantly died. At the time of its conception there were far less members than there currently are so I'm bringing it back in the hopes that we have a higher chance of success since there are more lucid dreamers available to attempt this. Unfortunately my own skills have not reached the level at which I would be able to attempt this often if at all, but I encourage all the members who possess strong lucid dreaming skills to come up with a location that is widely known and try to attempt what the members of old were trying to do. I think a good idea would be to possibly decide on at least 2 locations, one for members in the western hemisphere and one for members in the eastern hemisphere due to the different times at which we all sleep.

If you are a very strong lucid dreamer then I encourage you to get together with others and decide on a place. Since I won't be attending the meeting I will not decide on a location. I wish you all luck and hopefully this will lead to great findings and possibly development of the skills necesary to do this at will.

Even though I have enough trouble trying to get my LDs, may I make a suggestion? Since you'll probably have to have multiple people dreaming up identical dreamscapes, do something very very very simple, like a white room, plain and simple. Maybe include a single door for people to walk through. Just keep it so that everyone can imagine the same thing without too much difficulty.

Yea that sounds like a great idea. I'll hopefully be able to join in as well once I develop my skills more but for now I am just trying to get the ball rolling on this to get people interested in working on this. Seeing as its not known for most with certainty that this is even possible it makes it kind of difficult simply because there is no known method for going about this. But that is what we are trying to learn here.

You DO realize that there is a whole experiment going on about Dream Sharing in the Research forum. Maybe people should sign up and continue with that before we go on resurrecting this one.

Merck, maybe you can try to get more people involved in THAT one than this one that is pretty outdated.

1. After I graduate I don't know where I want to live, as long as it's by the ocean

2. I am meeting so many cool people from Australia

3. This extremely real and accurate psychic I went to (the only one I've ever been to) told me I had a "soul connection" with Australia - and he pulled that out of NO WHERE

I really think I am supposed to go there. I don't know why, or how I would do this. But it's something I'm going to look into.

As far as meeting at the opera house in Sydney I already kinda have a Dream Sharing target (Howetzer) that I would try to find before I try this stuff.

ok how about this, find Howetzer then when I am more experienced at lucid dreaming meet you there.
