      What can you remember?

While your in a lucid dream have you ever tried to recall previous events that have occured in THAT dream?
Or have you tried to rehash what hapened while you were awake, that day, the day before?
I myself have just went from one manifested dream scene to the next.
Other than a predetermined set of goals to remember such as a lucid task of the month.

If you have or are interested in sharing your experiance check out the Short Term Memomory Experiment.

Several times during my dreams I turned on my memory by wondering exactly where I was, which brought up memory associations that spread all over the Dream Map. Consciously we must only remember the tiniest fraction of our Dream Life... yes 'Dream Life'... we don't just have Dreams, we have this complete complex of memorable events which may contain a complexity and texture of experience which makes a typical Waking Life seem simplistically monotonous.

The next time you become Lucid, just look out upon the dream scene and ask yourself when was the last time you were there, and then ask yourself if you are close to anywhere else you've been recently. It is my guess that you will be overwhelmed with Dream Memories -- half way coherent memories too. you'll be surprised at what a busy little bee you've been at night...

No... perhaps we Dream more often than we think. We may Dream around the clock. It may only be during REM Sleep that the Conscious Mind can in any way overlap the Dream Self. Perhaps what we understand as our Dreams are just those brief moments when we get to look into our Dream Lives, but that after our Waking Consciousness is through taking its Nightly Tour of Dream Land, the Dream Self may say some equivalent of "I thought he'd never leave", and then go on with its own adventures, its own Life, its own memorable Life.

Also when I did try to remember where I was in the dream I began to loose lucidity. So I never really had the opprotunity to explore my conscious awareness of the situation and its memories.
      Maybe next time.

Yeah! When you begin to open up that vast memory, it is quite overwhelming. maybe it would be worth the sacrifice of some lucidity to have a peek at that avalanche of information. Remember, we consider Lucidity to be valuable, but sometimes we have to pay it out if it seems worth what we might get in return.

I was Lucid when I walked into the Throne Room of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and thought "hey, I'll take this dream". Lucidity is like an open ticket we can use, but eventually you have to chose a theater or you'll never see a show.

I am not sure I understand.
When I loose lucidity I usually either wake up or fall back into a dream.
Where are you proposing I do go and how do I get there.
How do I get this peek of information?
I have been in a state three times now that I can't fully explain. Some have called it a near death experiance. After much research, I am not convincded of that.
I felt I was in a deeper state than I have ever been. However I did not know how to navigate through it. Or even understand it then or even at this point, for that matter.

hahaha have a jedi battle then try and recall what you did , or go play asteroids but actualy be in the ship, you could try pac man, or go create your own planet and keep trying to bring it up every time you have LD's and add to it. Thats what im gunna try doing.
I reject your reality and substitute my own

      ah, sweet memory

Sometimes when i'm having a dream that i don't like for some reason, I'll rewind it and run it over and over and over changing something each time until i'm satisfied. sort of an intensive psychotherapy course.

Other times I do remember things that happened earlier in a particular dream and try to make sense of what is currently happening in the dream with reference to the memories.

On occassion I have also been in a dream and remembered pieces of other dreams (usually from the same night) and will incorporate them into the current dream. That leaves me feeling as though its all connected.

      Which of course it is.

Thats what I have been planning on, flying to an un-inhabited planet and shaping it how I wish, then visiting it in multiple dreams.
