      First Lucid Dreaming Experience

So my first real attempt at doing a Lucid I decided to jump right in and do a WILD. SP felt kinda, well, interesting. It takes me only about 5-10 minutes and I can still move if I try hard enough. I also only vibrate a little. So I imagined being in a hangar with a F-35 so I could fly her. Got in, it was very dark. Forgot to add lights. I instantly did my RT, which is holding my nose and breathing in. Confirmed it was a dream, then I slipped off into a regular dream. Quick question, is that called a False Awakening? On my second attempt I only got a regular dream and no real SP. (Must've been because there was a lot of background noise.) Third attempt was last night, the SP didn't come (I WILD every attempt.) and I only got two very weird normal dreams. I woke up and decided to WILD again, still nothing. So I just went off to sleep as normal. Reality check, YES! Second lucid. This one was very vivid and lasted much longer than 3 seconds. I was in a building, I concluded it to be a tower. I started in a elevator, came up, and was in a corridor. Saw a few guards, and a rather attractive female who appeared to be a under cover agent. I took a right and was in a are with a stargate looking thing. (If you've seen Stargate Atlantis, you'll know what that is.) More guards and someone that was helping me. I did my reality check, confirmed it and tried to summon up a gun. Didn't materialize in my hands, nor on my back. So he handed me a musket and a nice lookin' sword. A couple more guards came through the gate. I've got a feeling there's a powerful outside threat, didn't get a chance to explore the corridor leading to a populated are because I went into a normal dream. Felt to be about a 5-10 minute lucid though! I knew it's good to avoid the plot, but honestly, if I'm correct, that ain't somethin' I wouldn't wanna go along with. Tell me if y'all think this is pretty good for a total newb to LD's! :3

Wow, well done on that, WILDs are considered that hardest technique so you did really well!
Quick question, is that called a False Awakening?
No it's not a false awakening is where you enter a dream non lucid (can be from WILD, MILD, DILD or normal) and you believe you have woken up (tends to be where you wake normally).
I woke up and decided to WILD again, still nothing. So I just went off to sleep as normal. Reality check, YES! Second lucid
Your second lucid was most likely caused by the intent of having a lucid dream by WILD, I get them all the time when I fail wilds!
That was an awesome dream by the way, and it's not necessarily good to avoid the plot and do your own thing, plots can be great!

      Well Done and Good Luck

Thanks! Tonight I'm gonna set my alarm to about 6 hours after I fall asleep. Hah, the ironic thing is I used to hate havin' a bed time and havin' to drop everything and go to sleep. Now I go to bed earlier and can't wait to go to bed. :3

That's what I was like, also the best thing for me was just the increase in dreams, now my dreams take about half an hour to write up in my dream journal. 6 hours is a good time to WBTB, and if you have any more questions, just ask.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I used to have maybe 1 or two dreams a night, but just last night I had 4! Appreciate your help too! I was also wondering when I did my first WILD when I closed my eyes at one point it from black, to a white that started to really wrap around. I also feel like I'm moving. Is that dream forming, or me transitioning to the dream state?
