Lucid dreams are dreams you control...WRONG.

Not for me anyways. I have almost zero control over my lucid dreams, and I often forget I'm dreaming. My lucid dreams are mainly "WOOT! I'm lucid!!!" and whatever happens happens. Like last night, I had a lucid dream because we went back to school when we don't go back for well over a month, and I tried to fly and I flew about 15 feet, and I was like oh well, and ofcourse I didn't realize, I CAN CONTROL EVERY ASPECT OF A LUCID DREAM, but I always manage to not realize it. The second and final thing I tried to do was, well, you know , but she refused, and oddly enough you do have the ability to control what people do in your dream, but yet again I have failed to realize it.

Not to mention a lucid dream for me is rare.

Shlumpeet. Do you feel conscious when you are having these lucid dreams? Like as if you were awake? I think this could be two things. It could of coarse be more or niether (hows that for covering my butt? ) But you may have a very low level of lucidtiy.
But to me it sounds like more of a problem that I too suffer from. It is merley a lack of confidence that things can actually happen. Our minds have been so conditioned to work on a relative basis that some of us cannot simply let that go as we become lucid. Even though we know we are in a dream our conscious mind cannot let go of the laws of pysics. And sometimes morals and beliefs play a role in the as well. Once again what you are conditioned to think as you are awake. For all you really are is awake in your dream.
So you have to gain confidence in your dreams just as you would as if you were trying to gain confidence while you were awake.
