Thread: going back into the same dream

this has only happened once,i had awoken from a dream and on going
back to sleep i had got back into
the same dream. the same scene the
same people, and this occured twice.
is this usual?

I have this happen to me all the time. Mostly, I make it happen if I wake up from a dream I was enjoying, I can fall back to sleep and continue the dream. It doesn't replay itself, it just continues from the point I woke up. I can wake up many times and go back to sleep and continue a single dream.

I have had this happen to me numerous times. I have also replay the dream in my head or think of a part in the dream as Im falling back asleep and it will continue where it left off or the part in the dream I remebered last before going back to sleep. Replaying dreams can also be helpful when trying to remember dreams. Continuing dreams is very fun when you awake during a really good dream.

Well it happened to me quite a few times last night, but it usually seems to happen when I first wake up in the morning and go back to sleep andagain, I will be in the same dream a few different times.
