Causing Havok i the Dream Realm

Since I was 5 years old I could lucid dream on an almost nightly basis. i just thought this is how everyone had dreams and i never thought anything of it until something weird happened to me recently.

Before I can tell you what happened I must tell you what kind of dreamer I was: Sir Opportunist. Any and everything I ever wanted in real life I took without the thought of consequences since I was dreaming right? I stole, pillaged, murdered, abducted, and plenty of other things I would only do because I always knew it was JUST a dream.

I've dreamed like this for 10+ years and would wake up disappointed by what I had done sometimes but I wasn't always bad. Sometimes I was heroic but the bad guy was the role I chose after while because I could.

Then one night my lucid dream which has escaped my memory just halted suddenly and I thought I was going to wake up but I couldn't move my body or open my eyes. This happened to me before but I would just struggle really really hard and I would eventually break out of the paralysis and wake up. Except this time I didn't try to get up. I felt someone walk up to my bed and cut me with a knife on my stomach as if they were going to open me up and remove my intestines. It hurt when it happened so when I finally got the energy to wake up(maybe 2 minutes later) I went to my bathroom out of curiosity and found a horizontal mark across the entire length of my upper abdomen region in the exact spot I felt the pain. No blood and no more pain but it was obviously out of place.

It was like a crease mark or fold that an overweight person would get. Problem was that I was a 3 year varsity wrestler in the 119 weight class and i was 5'7"( not overweight and maintained a constant weight on a daily basis at practice). I still have that mark on my stomach a year after it happened so its not a self inflicted wound? If it was just a stomach crease why the sense of pain the exact moment it showed up.My ex-gf said I'm sorta conceded so I do look at myself on a daily basis.

Has anyone else had physical marks from dreams or know anything about this?

P.S.I sleep on my back and I would post pics but I haven't been registered for 7 days yet.

Sounds freaky. When I was younger I had a dream where I got cut and woke up with a welt on my back, I late discovered it was part of the mattress scratching me in my sleep. My theory is what sometimes happens to us while we sleep can affect our dreams. About the picture I'm sure if you asked a MOD or regular user they will attach the picture or if you want if you send me the image url I'll be more than happy to attach it for you.

I used to suffer from night terrors that had me walking around and throwing things. Close friends that I know have experienced similar episodes, some a bit more extreme. But I've woken up with injuries before, I think the most serious was when I managed to somehow give myself a black eye. Probably kneed myself in the face rolling around in bed. I'm not sure at all what to make of the mark on your stomach though. Just know I have shared similar dreams of painful torture. And sleep paralysis can make some pretty shocking hallucinations if you panic.
Does the dream ever repeat? Do you ever acknowledge the mark in your dreams?
EDIT: Could it perhaps be a stretch mark?

Its nice to know some other people have experienced things similar to this also. The dream was not repetitive and didn't relate to the actual cutting sensation but since it happened a while ago i don't really remember what the dream was about. What i do remember was the dream ending suddenly, the temporary paralysis, and I felt the cutting sensation.

My name is kidfractal on imgur(kidfractal, imgur, com) if you want to look at the pictures.

I'm have a low body fat percentage that's why I'm hesitant to label it as a stretch mark. and the timing is just weird to me.

EDIT: im curious as to if the dreams are not simply a phenomena of the mind but also a way to control events inside our body since many events in the body are controlled by hormone secretion from the hypothalamus which receives signals from the pituitary gland(hypophysis) of the brain. I might be speculating too much since im a biology major
