      LDing mod for HALF LIFE 2 U MUST PLAY THIS

      a new mod came out called "Eclipse". anyone who has half life 2 needs to get this now for free at www.fileplanet.com or filefront.com

      it never says its a dreaming game but believe me it is. when u get in, it has a blury bloom effect over the screen and u can lift stuff with your mind and when u concentrate to throw it at the dream demons, your vision becomes clearer and u can spawn fire balls if u concentrate aswell. its pretty sweet with the trippy graphics and hipnotic sounds in the backround. very dreamlike i was surprised! it has about 4 levels i think

      Too bad I don't have Half Life 2 . I would love to play this but the only game I play on steam is Day of Defeat and I don't wanna pay $50 for Half Life 2, wish I could check it out though!

      i have it! but it crashes always like before i get to start a game usually but i will download it i seen previews for ecli[pse a while ago with the mind tossing shit it seemed more like that was a race or something that you could pick with mind powers i dunno if it is lucid dreaming much... you cant control the enviroment and completely erase the suroundings on command can you... can you fly...

      i will soon find out if the memory error doesnt get the best of me tonight.

      no you cant fly in it. trust me there is no doubt it is a dream world. the HS and everything is very unreal. the fact that it feels like a dreamy haze is on the game until u focus and suddonly everything gets really sharp, sounds like what i hear about some LDs. its insane i keep beating it over and over i am amazed. gonna try and email the creators of the mod to see if certain parts of the game were their dreams sequences or not.

      I saw the trailer for it, and almost downloaded it, but thought otherwise. I thought I'd stay away from 3rd party mods like that for a while.

      I've played it, very good mod.

      The blur just enhances the fantasy effects, very well I might add.

      Tbh, I wouldn't link this with any kind of dreaming in any shape or form.

      If its a bit blurry, couldn't you just say, "Oh its blurry so the character must have something messing up his contact lenses. Really cool effect!!" I'm just saying, just because it has one similar aspect to dreaming doesn't make it a lucid dreaming mod. I haven't played Half Life 2 yet but maybe if I get a better computer I'll give it a try.

      No this mod was really poor. I really didnt get that into it because there was something wrong with the drivers so there was noise all over the screen, but the whole game felt lame. And she jumped so BAD!

      Anyway HL2 is really a great game! And if there is a mod that is should by tried out, and will feel like an awsome LD there is "Garrys mod"! With it you can do so many funny things like posing ingame dolls, changing texture on things, blow up things and so.
