      How I Control

The past few Lucid Dreams I had were frustrating me. I was trying to find someone, and I looked EVERYWHERE, I would run to different rooms, doors and everything and expect them around the corner but no one was there.

Last night I finally found out how to find the person I was looking for and frankly it was odd.
I basically see someone of the same gender, and then I go "I want that person to transform into the person" and then I see their hair changing and then they change completely. It was such a good feeling

Also, this is how I force myself to go into Lucid dreams, it doesn't work all the time though.
First I try to sleep, sideways, warm and cozy. I keep thinking in my brain 'im going into a dream, im going into a dream" over and over. Until, I just start thinking of things, and then eventually it turns into a dream, then I just remind myself, "this is a dream"! and then it's hard to explain how I start to sleep myself, get more tired and get more involved in the dream.

Once I am fully in, I do whatever I want. I really try. I didn't know about dream spinning and I will try it. Plus, im always scared that if I am poking someone in my dream, I have slept walked and I am poking someone in the real world but am not aware of it.

Basically, in my dream I cannot move my mouth drastically because I am holding myself from doing it. I think it is because I am asleep and my brain is unresponsive to muscle movements.

=) I am happy I found this community

I hope you have read what I have wrote.

      Thankies.

It is common for one that starts to not have Dream Control (I had to go through LDing w/o control for a year when I was 3).
You sleep walk? That is not very common & that is cool!
      BTW, Welcome to the forum!

Moogies, I am happy that you found this community as well and I look forward to reading much more about your lucid experiences.
I think I could learn a thing or two from you!

      Wow, that was very scary.

Last night I was trying to force myself into a lucid dream (using the method in my first post).
I was just laying there and all of a suddne it felt like a dark black shutdown was coming up through my brain towards my eyes.

In my head i said "its going to be a dream, here its coming!!!" and then I couldn't hear anything anymore, my ears were blocked out until my brother coughed really loud and I was fully concious again. I tried fake dream spinning even though I didnt even see myself in the dream, just in pitch darkness.

It was really weird, and the sleeping sensation coming over my brain sort of hurt xD

repeating I'm going into a dream, over and over again must be annoying.

For me, whenever I go into a dream, it feels like I just woke up, no matter where it takes place. So I auto do reality checks as I would do in the morning.
