      Lucid to do list

Does anybody write a "lucid to do list" in a journal? I've been thinking about doing it to hopefully help me stay focused on my main goals after becoming lucid. Has anyone had any experience with this? Has it helped you stay on track during a lucid? I'm going to start a list tonight and see if it helps me when I become lucid, because I always end up diddle dadaling around in my lucids and wasting good time to be practicing control. If anyone would like to share their experiences with doing this (if you have.) It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I keep Word files of a few different things, my techniques, journals, goal at the time, etc. and I also have one for a plan when I become lucid (stabilize, awareness, reality check) and I have a list of the things that I want to do when I've finished stabilizing the dream. I haven't had a lucid dream where I can try it out yet though so I can't say if it helps, but I look over it before I go to sleep and it keeps an orderly list of what I should do should I become lucid instead of having to just go over it in my head, so I would think it would help out if I could just become lucid

I also have an Excel file of the list of powers I want to try, induction techniques, dream signs and things like that so I can keep counts of them and see the stats after a while, which I'm kinda excited to start using so far I just have a few points in DILD techniques and it's kind of disappointing

Alright, thanks. I might start keeping a "lucid plan" journal or something where I have an entire plan and work on it until I complete the plan in one dream and then come up with a new one. I also might keep some journals of what "super powers" (if you wanna call them that haha) I want to try. But hey, If you have a lucid and realize that keeping such journals help, keep me updated on this thread and I'll do the same.

I only have one or two things on my list at a time, cause I believe that it's easier to actually remember it and get it done that way. I choose to have to do's that have to do with getting better at lucid dreaming, rather that getting "super powers" and having adventures. I just want to get familiar with the dream world. Right now my to do when getting lucid is: "Find out what it feels like to be in a dream as opposed to being awake" and "touch something and feel the textures".
I recently wrote these two to do's on a piece of paper on my wall next to my pillow and in the two lucids I've had since, I remembered it in both, so that might be worth trying.
I think I'm soon going to change my to do into "While lucid, tell myself that it's natural to be lucid and that I'll always be lucid while dreaming"

Well to update, luckily I ended up having a short lucid last night, and I stayed calm but I didn't immediately think about my plan. First I just did a reality check to make sure and then I tried to fly, which I did for maybe 5 seconds, and then I remembered I should have stuck with my plan to stabilize and become aware first before trying any control techniques. At that point I remembered my plan completely but because I forgot to stabilize first I ended up waking up so I didn't get to try anything out. So I think it was still helpful because I could remember what I should have done, I was just too hasty.

Next time I become lucid I think I will be able to follow through with it better.
