      Restarting lucid dreaming help

Basically I am starting to attempt to lucid dream again. I haven't done it for about 6 months but I really want to get started again.

The only problem is I'm not writing down my dreams. I naturally wake up once or twice in the night never less or more usually. When I do wake up I have usually experienced a dream. I think to myself. I could write notes. But I don't, I never do. I can't help but go back to sleep.

In the morning I don't have time to write down notes. I have a paper round. And if i set an earlier alarm i will just go back to sleep.

How can I force myself to write the notes in the night. I write them on my iPod btw

You should use a sound recording device. Weather it be on your phone or whatever you can use. I too have the same problem im very lazy when it comes to writing in the middle of the night and a lot of the time it wakes me up too much. So I just used the sound recorder on my phone and talk about the dream with my eyes closed (this also helps me to visualize the scene and better recall it). Let me know if this helps or if you have more questions!

Thank you, I think I may use a sound recorder or have a go at it tonight anyway. I don't mind actually writing it when i have the device. Its physically reaching over for the device and picking it up and unlocking it. That is the part I struggle with hahahaha

I agree I just hate writing it down so I record it and then write it down later. This also helps because then it's like im recalling and reliving the dream twice which in my experience has dramatically helped my dream recall (back when I was building it a few years ago )

I'm going to try extra hard tonight to do it then. I'll see what I feel like whether I record it or write it. I'll probably end up writing it as in the middle of the night i always feel like i'm going to wake someone up
