So recently I realized that some of my applications (not many) have helped increased my awareness and reaction in situations where I want them to be sharp. Whenever your attempting a DILD you want to be able to become lucid ASAP. Here's some of the apps that have helped my reaction, memory and awareness.

1. Temple Run - as silly as it sounds you'll learn pretty quick that in this game you need to stay focused and alert if you want to be a beast at getting through the never ending puzzle. My focus, reactions and awareness has improved quite a bit through this free application.

2. Brain Trainer by Lumosity.com - This application improves memory, speed, attention, felxibility and problem solving. It has come quite in handy. It's free to download, but after your free trial you are asked to pay for the trainer for however many years you want it. I paid for the first year because I enjoy the daily challenge

3. Dream Inducer - This one has helped me through my MILDs and is the most recommended lucid inducing application in the Apple Marketplace. For .99 cents you can have different ranges of sound trigger different types of dreams. I use this with WBTB and MILD and it seems to work quite well.

Application sound frequencies for Dream Inducer include:
Delta REM: Which helps to stimulate REM sleep and ordinary dreaming
Theta REM: Stimulates active and creative dreams
Alpha REM: Stimulates more Vivid dreams
Beta REM: Helps to induce intense and realistic dreams

There is also a lucid dreaming frequency that is made to induce general lucid dream awareness.
