So, I've found that in many of Laberge's exercises, he says "lie on your back or right side". I've noticed long ago that I'm more comfortable and have a much easier time falling asleep when lying on my right side (i.e. right shoulder on matress, not "facing towards the right"). Why is this the case? I think it may be because your heart is higher up, so it isn't getting crushed, and has an easier time circulating blood, but not sure... |

That's weird, I usually fall asleep much easier if I am laying on my right side, I just thought it had to do with the fact that if im laying on my left side then I'm facing a wall just inches from my face. |

Funny, I remember overhearing someone on a bus today saying that they have trouble sleeping on their left. |

I always sleep better on my left. Atleast to start off with, I know I do end up turning around in my sleep a lot. |

Bah, I'm the only one more confortable sleeping on my left shoulder. No wonder I never become Lucid. |

~Happy Dreaming
Lucid Dreams: 1
I usually sleep on my back but sometimes I roll to my left side which faces the Sliding doors and I usually never have a problem going Lucid sleeping on my left. Actaully I sleep better on my left side opposed to my right. The right side always felt a little uncomfortable sometimes. |
|
how much on your side are you people talking about? I always sleep on my tummy and i find it kind of hard to sleep any other way. I tried to sleep on my right and left side before a while ago, but i couldn't really do it. I kept falling on my back or foward onto my stomach or sometimes a cross of both(unless thats what you're talking about?) |

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard
I usually use a thin pillow and put an arm under it (in such a way that i don't cut off circulation) |
|
I normally sleep with my back I sleep on my left if im really tired for soem reason and I sleep on my right If I cant get to sleep |

Cheis. Dailo.
It's tough to bring someone back that never really lived.
That's really interesting. I've often discussed sleeping positions with family and friends and never really concluded that they affect how you sleep and your dreams. We've always agreed it's just a comfort factor and personal preference (i.e. not facing the wall or facing away from the wall). |

i always find that lying on my back is better for wilds and i tend to find myself naturally in this position even when i awake, tho ive fallen asleep on one of my sides. for comfort i mostly fall asleep on my right side and/or belly, but sometimes like once a wk i find myself in a radom position, 1 leg off the bed 1 leg crunched up 1 arm over my head 1 arm hangin of the bed, lol as u can imagine. |

To see a world in a grain of sand and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.
but mybe the right side is better because the heart is beating towards the left side..... so if u sleep on the right side u dont have more pressure on ur heart... |
|
funny. I do sleep on my right :S No, acctually I sleep face-down on my stomach, with my left hand under the pillow and my right hand anywere it wishes. I take alot of spece. But when I don't lay that way I lay on my right. Facing a wall too. |
