Why Should You Want To Be A Lucid Dreamer?

Why should you want to have a lucid dream? Until you become lucid in a dream, until you find yourself awake and aware in a parallel world as personal, vivid, and experientially real as this one, you will not have a clue what you are missing. Become lucid and you will know. Lucid dreaming is, at the very least, the ultimate virtual reality.

In the kingdom of lucid dreams, you are released from the limits of physics, the burdens of the flesh, and the constraints of social and moral codes of conduct. The dreamer is the one and only law. Become a lucid dreamer and you will feel the thrill of seeing your thoughts take form. Any fantasy can come to life, any imaginary scenario can be realistically played out. In the privacy of your dreams, the only boundaries to your behavior are self-imposed. You can step into the air and fly. Your dreaming mind will create stunning imagery of the landscape below and the sky above.

Lucid dreaming's applications are only limited by your imagination. End recurrent nightmares by realizing that the event is only a dream, overcome waking fears, rehearse for life's opportunities and challenges, stimulate creativity and rekindle the fires of human adventure.. Should you be physically disabled, lucid dreaming offers the only real opportunity to step out of your bonds. Years of despair can suddenly include precious moments of joy. for the spiritually and mystically oriented, lucid dreaming is especially suited as a portal to transcendence. And perhaps the greatest wonder of all is that lucid dreaming is available to every religion, belief, sexual preference, discipline and art.

Freedom is lucid dreaming's fundamental characteristic. Admittedly, unfettered freedom can initially be intimidating. Lucid dreaming is not for everyone. If you must repress your physical appetites, if you are tormented by desires or demons that you don't want to face, if you function best when confined, if you like your reality mapped out by consensus, then lucid dreaming is not for you. But for those of you who cannot resist the heart's longing to be free, lucid dreaming is something that deserves your best effort. Diligently set your mind to learn the techniques to become conscious in your dreams. There you will discover the mystical land of our legends, fables and faith. /Stephen Berlin

Beautiful... Dreaming is the epitome of freedom and beholds the marvels of our subconscious. To recognize this simple idea opens a pathway to independence. You are a talented writer, Mr. Berlin. Kudos
