This is going to be a rather loaded post, so bear with me. I have two experiences, both of which I'm unsure of. I was going to put this in the Lucid Experiences forum (I know, that's probably where it should go) but I have questions to, so here we go.

The first one is an experience where I'm not quite sure I was even dreaming. I am one of those people who can't stand to wake up in the morning so I wake up and go back to sleep a few times before finally getting out of bed. I had done this a few times and the last time I did it I had a dream (or daydream) that I was walking on a beach. It was a public beach and there were people all over, playing in the sand and in the water. It was really very ordinary, but I knew from the start that I was dreaming because I felt my "sleeping self" roll over. I looked at my watch twice and got two completely different times just to make sure. I then walked over to a beach ball (I can't remember if I was really excited or not) and threw it up in the air, trying to get it to float. It didn't, but I'm really not very surprised because it was only my second lucid dream (that I remember). Suddenly, everything lost clarity. There's really no other way to describe it, it felt like I was watching it on a TV and it was a really grainy picture. Then I walked down to the water, and my dad came over and I woke up. I don't know whether I lost lucidity at the end or not, but it doesn't really matter.

My question is if this could be considered a lucid dream at all. I felt my "real" self flip over and all that, so I'm not very sure.

Next, (I told you this would be long ) a few nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night and decided it would be a nice time to try a WILD. They'd never worked for me before, but, as I said before, I don't usually wake up in the night so I'd never been drowsy while doing it. I relaxed and tried to stay focused on staying conscious. I eventually just fell asleep normally, and ended up having just a regular dream. But I woke up again when the dream was over and heard country music playing. I started to wonder if maybe I hadn't fallen asleep and this was the noise I was going to hear so I tried to move. I moved my finger and the music suddenly ended. The next morning my sister said something about hearing music in the middle of the night, but she said she heard a repetitive drum beat.

Again... could these noises be attributed to WILD? I'm thinking that maybe there was a party going on (It was around the Fourth of July) and we just heard different songs, but why would it stop if I moved?

Thanks for your answers, especially regarding the first dream-thing.
