      Is This Good... Or Bad?

Okay here's what has been happening for the past few days. Whenever I go to sleep I'll lay in bed and close my eyes (Like normal) And then I'll do my breathing exercise to relax (Like normal) After I do this I usually fall asleep after some time, and sleep all throughout the night. But lately I'd be sitting there doing what I do normally, But I'd fall asleep, dream, then be sitting there doing my breathing again oblivious to the fact that I had fallen asleep for a good hour and had a dream until after like 15-30 seconds, then I remember a small fragment of that dream and say to myself wow... I just dreamed? because it felt like nothing had happened. So pretty much in a nut shell I wake up after each dream, this starts right when I fall asleep because I went to sleep last night at 2:14 am and woke up at 2:58am and that was 1 dream. Now is this a good thing for lucid dreaming? I would think I might be able to do a W.I.L.D. But on the other hand is this bad for sleeping? I mean I feel like 1 million bucks so I don't think so. but i'm not an expert. Thanks.

This doesn't sound like it would really be bad for sleep in general since at most you'll lose a couple minutes which isn't a big deal. If you feel really conscious about it, though, then just go to bed a few minutes earlier.

As for LDing it sounds like you'd be the perfect candidate for DEILDs. It's when you wake up from a dream without moving at all, not even opening your eyes, and then preforming a WILD only it's much faster and easier. You can also use the previous dream you just woke up from as a guide for the next dream to form. The only difficulty with this is you have to be able to wake up without moving or opening you eyes. A lot of people use an alarm to gently wake them up and that then shuts itself off. However you sounds like you already have an internal alarm .
