Hi all, I am hoping someone here is in the same boat as me. I have had this same problem for about 15 years, where I think I have woken up, but I am in fact dreaming, but I am completely paralyzed and unable to move. Often I get tingles down my side associated with this. This also happens most often if I sleep at an abnormal time (in the day) or if I happen to have broken sleep at night.
For a long time I didnt even realise it was a dream. Only after identifying multiple objects in my room during this paralyzed state, then finally waking myself up and noticing 1 thing had changed, did I realise it was a dream.
It always sends me into a state of panic, as often it's even hard to breathe. I try to use all my strength to move or wake myself up, but it always takes a long time to wake myself up from this state.
Is there anyone out there who has experienced or experiencing this?
