Lucid dreaming better than sleep paralysis!

I much prefer a lucid dream than the seeming next phase..sleep paralysis..when I wake up fully in a dream or after just falling asleep but my body is still in sleep state. Its frightening and thankfully hasn't happened in a year. Then there is the chain lucid dream..sleep paralysis..lucid dream..on and on..sometimes 7 times in a row before I escape sleep state and fully wake up.Hopefully I won't experience that again. The last "lucid" dream I had was pretty neat in that realized during the dream that none of it was real and I asked the man I was walking with if I was dreaming. He looked at me and said..'do YOU think it is?' I woke up after that. That's the worst part, lol.I never stay in a dream for long after realizing Im dreaming. If I do stay in the dream at all that is..I will immediately try to do something impossible..I get excited and am aware of the possibilities. But never stay in the dream.I gues that's important.Considering my actual life..I sometimes think Id love to stay in a dream..lucid or not..forever.

Lucid dreams as a means of escapism?! That's poppycock. Hopefully, your situation will improve. Even better, you'll learn to cope with it. Good luck. I'll love you no matter what happens./

Rub your hands and immerse the senses (literally grab onto a piece of your dream) to remain in the dream for a longer amount of time. Also, mere practice of lucid dreaming will eventually lead to more stable dreams, as well as becoming lucid earlier on in your REM period.
