Lucid dreaming is different from daydreaming, in that in a lucid dream, you are fully aware of yourself and your surroundings.
When you are daydreaming, you are exploring possibilities from an 'outside' view, i guess...at least, thats the way i see it!

I would agree with irishcream that they are very differant. IMO.
I don't see how you could possibly day dream to the extent of having an entire scene manifesrted before you unless you were asleep.
I would ask him to describe the scene to you.

Yeah a daydream you imagine seeing things, in a Lucid dream you actually SEE them
And seeing is just the beginning, you can feel touch and hear.. well its pretty much just like the physical world. In my experience that is
"A knight is sworn to valor.
      His heart knows only virtue.
      His blade defends the helpless.
      His might upholds the weak.
      His word speaks only truth.
      His wrath undoes the wicked."

Impossible is only that which has yet to be imagined

Maybe its like 'daydreaming' in terms of being awake and imagining something extraordinairy happening and kinda visualizing it and everything. But in a lucid dream you would'nt just imagine it, it would be 'real'. Of course its all imagined cuz you're dreaming but you get the idea....
