      Let's Get this Clear..

      Hello everyone..

alright there has been alot of talk abou "Pain" in LD's..like one dude posted that he fell onto sharp rocks, laid there for an hour, and actually felt pain..i just read another about some dude getting shot and waking up to actual pain...

Now in one of my LD's, i got shot 9 times..literally all in a row, and all in my chest...you knwo what happened to me...i smiled and was like ..."I just got fucking shot 9 times, and i didn't feel a thing....I LOVE DREAMING!!!" I was lucid in that dream for a while..i walked outside with my best friend--who was the one who shot me--long story lol---and im like "Dude you know i'm not awake right now, i'm dreaming..." !

So in any case--or in my cases, i have yet to feel pain....honestly people who say they feel pain, its just a trick inside ur mind--ur dream mind--you cant feel pain at all--and when you are Lucid...you should know that "it's all a dream" cuz you have become Lucid, there fore making it "pretty much" impossible to feel pain.....

I also had a dream--not lucid--that me and my mom were driving in her jeep and fell off the side of this bridge backwards--and we landed on solid cement 30 feet below us---didn't feel a thing either! so again, im not a expert...but i believe its just all in your head and you have to tell yourself "It's all a dream!"

      thanks
      dj jones

P.S. :Although there may be some wicked cases out there that may involve pain in dreams--but usually its really uncommon

I've felt pain plenty of times in dreams, from being shot usually, or from something sharp, or pain of suffocating. And all of those sensations were as real as can be. When you tell us to "remind ourself it's a dream," that is what achieving a lucid dream is all about... and it's not just as easy as reminding yourself, not everyone can do that anytime, anywhere. Just because you are one of the lucky ones who doesn't feel pain, doesn't mean your experience is exclusive to everyone. Pain is all in the mind, whether you are dreaming or not. Lately I've been having sleep paralysis where I get this horrible sharp pain in my lower right side of my back before I fall asleep. Last time I mustered all the energy I could to roll over on my hand so I could press against the spot, because it was so excrutiating. But I'll deal with it. SP helps me lucid dream.

Anyway, pain in dreams is perhaps overcomeable, but it's also real for a lot of people.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.

yeah its all in the individual. I've never felt any pain in my dreams I guess because I've set my mind up to understand the fact that it's not my physical body in the dream and I see myself as translucent in my dreams. I've been shot and fell from the sky and everytime it seems like a tingling sensation almost tickle but never pain.

In a lucid dream I had two years ago I was on the ground and as I lifted myself up I felt pebbles digging into my hands. I also feel pain in regular and lucid dreams, but never so bad that I felt it when I woke up.

I stubbed my toe on a curb in a lucid dream and felt it like it was real, but I got over it immediately. I have never been afraid of anything in a lucid dream because I know I own and can control everything I come across.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

      Pain in Dreams.

I would Imagine that pretty much everyone can feel pain in their dreams, but maybe not to the same extent as others. If you can't feel pain while dreaming, how would you be able to feel anything else, like things that you are holding, an orgasm, or even the weather. Unless, of course, you have trained yourself not to feel pain while lucid dreaming, because you know it's only a dream and nothing could possibly hurt you.

But have you ever felt the wind on your wings, the cold dry air of the upper atmosphere chilling your skin, the suns warm rays penetrating deep at the same time on your skin? The feel of winged flight is amazing, how I could possibly know how it feels I dont know, perhaps my imagination is just too active, or perhaps I have really flown

For some its as real as they choose it to be, for me, its just real.

This is something I am curious about now Ima gona make a thread with a poll
"A knight is sworn to valor.
      His heart knows only virtue.
      His blade defends the helpless.
      His might upholds the weak.
      His word speaks only truth.
      His wrath undoes the wicked."

Impossible is only that which has yet to be imagined
