I've been running into quite the problem recently with my attempts at lucid dreaming. Lately I've gained a refreshed passion of lucid dreaming after successfully pulling off a WILD. For the past couple of weeks, however, I have been running into some sort of barrier to get into the dream.

It all starts off perfectly; I'm in my room, flex-frozen and ready to enjoy the trip that is sleep paralysis. I lay very still, calmly awaiting the heavy wave to fall upon my body. It always hits, and I can feel it, however the next step seems to have fallen away from me.

For some reason, I cannot enter a dream. At most, I'll have the occasional hypervivid HH. For example I could think of a book and start to see small glimpses of the book, but nothing would ever appear fully. The same happened with a Coke can I tried to imagine, I could see the can in front of me in some spots, and almost felt it there, but I can not completely grasp the images.

This happens almost every single time I attempt to lucid dream as well, whether it be when I lay down to sleep at night (Regardless of success rates to others, I like to see it as just another opportunity to attempt an ld!), when I wake up in the middle of the night to WILD, or even when I take naps in the day!

Please help DV! I'm a lucid dreamer in need.
