Yes definitely spin. It really helps. It should help your eyes too. Do whatever you can to stay lucid such as rubbing your hands, feeling the environment around you, and other stuff. Since you say this is your first full lucid dream, I w old stay away from sex. It can get you really excited and wake you up. Even if it didn't in that dream, it still might in others. Only get it on in a lucid dream when you are a little more experienced. That might be why your eyes were heavy. Trying to wake up?

      Congratulations!

In your next lucid I recommend you stabilize your dream. That will also help with your heavy eye problem. Here is Dreamviews official stabilization tutorial. Like other people have said, spinning and rubbing your hands together are common techniques when it comes to stabilizing but why do these work? The reason those techniques work is because when you rub your hands together your brain is generating a new feeling and when you spin around your brain in generating new scenery. It is basically all about creating new feelings and senses.

So when you are stabilizing try and use all the senses. Stop for a second and look around you. What do you see? Smell? Taste? Feel? Hear? If you pay attention to things like that your dreams will last even longer
