      Who raped my daughter?

I have been lucid dreaming for almost a year now. For years (I am older than most of you) I did not recall my dreams at all. But now I notice that even many of my non-lucid dreams are extremely real seeming, just like a lucid. Especially if I almost become aware (like thinking about lucid dreaming while dreaming but not realizing I was in one).

Well last night in my dream 3 very evil men broke into my house and brutally raped my beautiful 13 year old daughter while I feared for my life (Oh by the way... I dont have a 13 year old daughter...). This dream was so real I experienced all the raw emotions laid bare. I was sure we would all be murdered by them and was really scared and in great dispair. When I awoke I was so angry at them I tried to LD back to the same dream to kill those bastards, but could not. So, until then I questioned us having a shared dream plane, but this was so real I now wonder. So if someone out there dreamed that, I am warning you... If I find you in my dream house again, what you did to my dream daughter was absolutely dispicable, and I WILL kill your dream character! Fair warning...

Sorry for your bad dream. Some of them leave deep impact on us and I don't think there is an explanation why.

I have noticed lately, that last thing I watch on tv before bed does show up in my dreams. Have you maybe been watching something like that?

Or, is it possible, that it was symbolical? Your daughter representing your idea or plan that you worry about it not happening anymore?

It's odd to hear that you don't have a daughter yet you dream of having one, and her being raped of all things. Did she look anything like you? Where did she come from?

Somewhere deep inside you probably want a daughter, and be very protective about her. It's not uncommon to have dreams like this once in a while.. A lot of dreams have some sort of meaning behind it, no matter how "brutal" they may look. Hope this helps you a little bit out!

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

It's best to have failure happen early in life. It wakes up the Phoenix bird in you so you rise from the ashes.

Thanks for good comments. I have a 31 year old daughter nothing like the dream daughter. I wrote the entry to demonstrate how real dreams can seem and affect you, and I DID try to reenter for revenge that night. Now of course I see it just as a dream. But I actually love how real these dreams seem...even scary ones. I get to live and experience things I hope never to in real life. It is like being a very real avatar in a world where I have a different life but one seeming just as real.

Who knows, maybe that's one of the reasons why we dream - to experience all kinds of situations, to be able to react to them and to evaluate our actions.

Disturbing dream! Maybe a change in your diet or sleep pattern is causing your dreams to be more vivid. Hope you don't have any more nightmares like that. I agree that it's odd to dream about a daughter when you don't have one.
