You should have done a reality check. Close your nasal passage and try to breath. If you can still breath, you're dreaming. If not, don't jump off a building |

Hey guys, so it's been a while since I've posted. I stopped (attempting) lucid dreaming for a while because school was making it difficult when it came to sleep. Well recently, I've been remembering a bunch of awesome dreams without my DJ. So i started to record them to improve my recall once again. Now I am trying to induce lucid dreams again. Well that's my mini intro, and hopefully I'll stay this time. |

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I did do a reality check. I did the digital clock one first, then the nose rc. Didn't work. I then preceded to do a WBTB, but I only got non-lucids. |

Nonono, the DEILD, you should have done the nasal passage closing reality check. You don't really move, unlessit's the flap that keeps stuff from going into your lungs. Sorry if I misread your post |

Oh I see. So I don't have to pinch my nose? I just have to block my nasal passage? |
|
holding your breath is a good reality check, as in dreams you won't feel pressure building up in your lungs, while in real life the reflex of inhaling air will kick in shortly after you can also try looking at your hands, trying to make out if they have more/less fingers than you really do. |
|
That's much easier. Well, I guess I'm just going to continue trying to MILD and improve my recall. Thanks! |

DEILD doesn't always work. Especially, if you wake up too much. For me it works, if I stay groggy and half asleep. But that's something I can't do consciously, it just happens. And RC only if you are already too awake anyway. |
