      Sleep Induction Techniques?

I have been trying this "chant that you will remember your dreams" stuff for the past few days to no avail. If anything it makes me stay up longer... and I still dont recall any dreams at all. Does anybody have some tips on how to actually fall asleep?

Hmm. Try NST; I started yesterday, and it worked. Last night, I talked to my subconcious, and asked it to do this for me:

-Wake me up after a vivid, long, rememberable dream. Needless to say, I woke up at 8:30; I went to bed at about....3ish, so that means I wake up in 5 hours; which as you might know is, during yoru rem cycle, which is when you have the most dreams!

-I asked it to also remind me throughout the day about him, so I wouldn't forget and not talk to him. Today he randomly poped up into my head several times, so it worked!

Some things I didn't have much sucess with, but overall it worked pretty well.

I just tell him what I want to do before I go to bed, and when I'm tierd, I quickly review it with him. =P I also talk to him a bit before bed, to establish a friendship with him.

Call me nuts, yes, but it works.

YOU'RE NUTS! lol, j/k, I do that too. Actually I ask my subconscious to remind to do just about anything. I always forget stuff, so I ask him to remind to take my cellphone and all kinds of things I usually forget. He always reminds me.

Before I go to bed I ask him to remind me that my dreams are usually bizarre and completely out of context, so next time Im in a out-of-context-situation he usually reminds that it is an out-of-context-situation. I've had LDs this way too.
