      2nd Lucid dream? Your opinion.

Well by definition I guess this is a lucid dream. Although I don't I was much in control. One thing I am happy about is I had the intention to lucid before and while going to bed so that is a +
Anyways here is how it went. So I wake up in my room and in my bed(in the dream) and I look at my window to see orange light coming through. I think to myself "that is odd" and I do the nose plug RC. After doing the RC I thought to myself "I must be dreaming" because I could breathe through my nose(so thanks dreamviews for the nose plug advice. it worked 2 for 2!).

So my first thought is to run downstairs to go outside to fly. Just like my first LD but last time I blacked out. The weird thing is, I actually thought of my last LD and how I blacked out before reaching the door which to me makes me believe this was a decent LD. I open the door to an orange sky(pretty epic) and see one of my best friends. He was standing there and grabbed by hand and flew up but it was pretty weak. I then thought "wow this sucks I can't even fly" but I tried again this time by myself. IT WAS AWESOME. I flew up and then slowly landed in the grass. I layed in the grass and thought to myself "wow this grass feels real". After that I don't remember much.

During the dream, the detail was pretty vivid but of course now it is kinda hazy. I didn't wake up to record the dream asap. Now as I said at the start, I feel like I had minimum control. I think most of my actions were from my subconscious because I always run that scenario in my mind which is go downstairs then outside then FLY lol. My last LD which was a couple of months ago was me sleeping in my bed(which was not in the same place) then I went on to turn on the lights. The lights didn't turn on and I did the nose plug RC. After that I realized I was dreaming. I tried to fly but only levitated an inch off the floor then headed downstairs. Halfway through everything went black and I don't remember.

I would say this dream was much more of a step forward. I had some thoughts to myself and even recalled the previous LD(first time I have ever had a thought like that in a dream). So it wasn't a fully vivid in control awesome LD but it was still cool. Also cool that I was wanting a LD that night so intention WORKS. So thanks dreamviews and this has made me want to try even harder. To tel the truth, I haven't even put much effort into LDing and already had 2 LDs. Although they weren't as cool as some of your dreams it is still progress!

Thanks for reading and some input would be appreciated. How was my LD compared to your average LD? What can I do to gain full control? And what can I do to increase vividness?

Sorry about the grammar errors. I wrote it pretty fast and can't seem to edit it. Anyways I think my next step is to try flying again but this time, I actually want to fly around in a dream. So first LD was levitating, second one was shooting up to the sky, my next one should be like superman. I am going to start doing the nose plug RC more and give forth more effort. In fact, I am going to try again tonight! My confidence has increased!

Oh and one more thing. What can I do to extend the length of my LDs?

You can extend the length of your lucid dreams by really believing and telling yourself you will have long length lucid dreams, I also recommend taking a look at some stabalization techniques because they really do help to make yourself lucid for longer.
