There's definitely a difference between DREAM CONTROL and lucid dreaming. I've experienced the same thing, but only when I was actually trying to lucid dream. If you keep trying. I don't think you'll be in doubt when you know you are lucid. Imagine being able to "feel" the wind, walking on grass, the bed you are lying on in your dream etc. Usually, you'll be able to feel these things when you're lucid |

Thanks for the reply and for your time...I think i have experienced a dream like this but it was like a 3 second duration and was the best thing i have ever experienced,as far as i remember...I also wanted to ask why almost of my "lucid" dreams were like what i described and were almost all initiated from a FA... |

This is an area I'd rather an expert answered. As you can see, I am just a beginner lucid dreamer myself. I think it's different for everyone though. I've had two false awakenings but I was not a second in doubt they were both a dream because I was not in my room and not in my own bed. |

I actually try ADA with DILD and i have tried sometimes to WILD unsuccessfull because i was too nervous or something to sleep..I also WBTB sometimes and thats when the vivid lucid dream came...My complain is that i have been trying for about 3 months and i put lot of effort to this and i dont see any results exept from what i said..I keep my DJ normally everyday exept from sometimes that i dont have time.. |

There can be many reasons for not having success. I've been writing a dream journal since late October this year, and it's only just starting to pay off. I have to say though, I have no need to do reality checking throughout my day, and I rarely use "mantras". I did early on, but this was mostly to get myself a starting point. You will find that once you start having lucid dreams, you will quickly learn what works for you and what doesn't |
