What type of dreaming is this?

I'm new to the forum and really just want to chat to someone about my dreams without themn thinking i'm a wierdo!!

I have always had very good dream recall but my dreams seem to go further than this.

I can have very very vivid dreams from which i can recall exact indepth details and more recently my dreams have been having an affect on me when i'm awake - eg an emotional state i'm in in my dream seems to linger around when i wake up, it's almost asif it's 'stuck' in my head - is this wierd?

Also i went through a stage a few years ago when I, myself, NEVER appeared in my dreams but now I am in every one.

Sometimes i also seem aware that i am dreaming and there are specific things i know i can do in my dreams and even tell people (well friends, as they already know i'm loony!) that I may no be able to fly but 'dream me' definately can and even went through an 'in dream' learning progress of starting off bad and progressing in ability level.

I dont do anything special just get into bed and dream - alot of my most vivid dreams happen when i've woken in the morning an dropped back off to sleep, although sometimes i dont even think i'm properly asleep.

Now I must admit i have Tourettes Syndrome (and suspected Aspergers) and suffer with the worst kind of migraine so I do have issues with the chemical make up and working of my brain anyway - do you think this would affect how i dream? And what kind of dreaming is it i am doing?

Thanks for listening to the mumblings of a crazy person, lol

      Welcome to DV!

I can't say I'm seeing anything weird or unusual about your dreams. You're even a natural lucid dreamer, that's cool. Sounds more interesting than weird.

When it comes to your last question, I don't really know what to tell you. I guess a doctor would be the right person to ask, perhaps. Sorry to hear about your migraine, though.

      glad it's normal!
I must admit i really enjoy my dreams, they are never negative or bad, and i look forward to going to bed.
Some nights i also get this odd headachy feeling almost asif my brain wants to dream - i often tell the family 'i'm going to bed, my brain is craving dreams' - i can tell before i go to bed if i'm going to dream heavily.
