Let's say you want to practice playing a certain sport, but you feel like you have to find a field to practice in... Your search for the field then transforms into a scenario you did not initially intend. |

It's most likely possible to imagine yourself being on a field doing practice while going to sleep, that would likely heighten your chances of dreaming of it in the first place |

Before you go to bed kind've do a MILD type thing and picture yourself becoming lucid in a dream and what you want to do after you become lucid. I used to have the same problem as you for my first few lucids, but after you have more experience it becomes easier. |

Instead of going to look for the field, tell yourself "I'm gonna practice on this field behind this door [behind the corner, behind me...] |

I agree with gab there, though personally dream incubation before going to sleep haven't worked for me ever. |

Keep trying. It has never worked for me either, until one day it did |

Things that are on your mind will pop up in dreams. I've been seeing young children the last two nights. They need my help with something and there's nothing I can do. A bit disturbing to say the least. |
