You aren't too aware in a dream. If something happens like 5 times in a row it starts making you feel like it is inevitable. When you become lucid don't expect anything you don't want to happen. If you dont want to move to stabilize I would recommend feeling the wind and smelling, seeing, listening, and moving your tongue around your mouth. This can make you more aware without moving. |

ok im about to go to sleep and ill try some of those things i got a feeling about smelling i think taking a breath wont be enough to wake me? ill get back on in the morning |

If you are worried about it, it might, but if you do it as the last 2 you should be pretty stable. Your breathing in dream is normally just the same as outside, so if you hold your breath you will wake up. Also, if you want to try something new you can try smelling without using your nose. |

well i messed up. i guess i was too excited before i went to sleep because i kinda stayed on the edge of sleeping or i was sleeping really lite. so i didnt have any dreams! |

Haha. Yeah. You can do anything. No limit whatsoever. |

Yeah, just try the recommended methods for dream stabilization/extenders such as rubbing your hands together or those things. So far though I have not seen from anyone a method that can really extend your dreams. |

Well, I think I might need some help too, like evert time I actually DO become lucid, it lasts like only around 10 dream seconds before randomly fading, although of course it seems most of my lucids occur if I happen to wake up near the end of my usual full amount of sleep, then go back to sleep. |

Have you tried stabilization? It should decrease the chance of waking up as far as i know. Also do not think about waking up when lucid, that might cause it as well. |
