Yeah, N-Rem dreams account for 30% of the total dreams, but they tend to be way less vivid and their content relates more to short-term and residual memory. You can even get Lucid N-rem dreams, but that's an unknown area to the majority of people, and there's not much information about it around.
Hmm, you can always grab a iphone app and track your sleep stages, the fact is that most of them they aren't that accurate. Guess you can only be sure of what happened if you go to sleep lab
